AFP-Colorado Urges Gov. Polis To Veto SB25-005
DENVER, CO — Americans for Prosperity-Colorado (AFP-Colorado) is calling on Governor Jared Polis to veto SB25-005, a bill that would unnecessarily harm the Labor Peace Act and undermine the longstanding constitutional right to free association in the Centennial State. SB25-005 would increase the burden on workers and small businesses and make Colorado a less competitive state for business.
AFP-Colorado Deputy State Director Brittany Trujillo issued the following statement calling on Governor Polis to veto SB25-005:
“AFP-Colorado is calling on Governor Jared Polis to stand by his word and veto this costly legislation. SB25-005 prioritizes special interests over Colorado workers, harms small businesses, and will raise prices for families across the state. Coloradans cannot afford to take a step back with a bill that undermines our constitutional rights and empowers labor unions at the expense of small businesses.”
