Americans for Prosperity – Colorado Issues Statement on HB24-1363, Thanks Lawmakers for Defeating Anti-School Choice Bill
DENVER, CO – After the defeat of HB24-1363, Americans for Prosperity – Colorado (AFP-CO) State Director Jesse Mallory issued the following statement:
“Fifteen percent of public school students in Colorado attend a charter school, yet this bill was nothing more than a top-down government approach that would have taken away education options from families.
“AFP-CO thanks our grassroots activists, coalition partners, and impacted communities who spoke out against this measure. We will continue to fight tirelessly against any measure that looks to take away opportunities for Colorado students.”
